Guest Book Platters Promotes Green Weddings with our Green Packaging Strategies

Guest Book Platters, Inc. wants to help you have a green wedding. By hiring our services, you may not even realize you're utilizing green wedding ideas! We've taken steps in our everyday processing to be more aware of our impact on the environment. For starters, by choosing to have one of our commemorative signature platters as your guest book, we're all conserving trees. Unfortunately, in order to adequately protect these porcelain and ceramic platters and ensure that you get your guest book platter in one piece (something we've mastered), we do need to use packing materials. This includes bubble wrap, shipping peanuts and popcorn, cardboard and paper. While we can't change those facts, we have chosen to use cornstarch shipping peanuts that are 100% biodegradable in warm water. Whenever possible, we also use recycled shipping peanuts by offering to take in and reuse shipping peanuts that would otherwise be thrown away to most like sit for many years in a landfill. In an effort to be more eco friendly, Guest Book Platters, Inc. is also using kraft paper and corrugated cardboard filler in lieu of plastic bubble wrap whenever possible - although it is necessary to use bubble wrap in certain stages of packing your heirloom signature platters. We hope others will decide to implement these same "green wedding" practices when shipping packages in everyday life.
