Welcome to our Guest Book Platters web store! We're excited that you've chosen our hand painted guest book plates for your special event. GuestBookPlatters.com takes your trust very seriously and are dedicated to giving you the absolute best product and service possible. Please read our store policies on purchasing our signature platters from us. Feel free to call anytime should you have questions on custom design work, platters or webstore policies.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
Due to the personalized nature, all platters and accessories are sold prepaid. Therefore, we will begin processing your order/payment as soon as it is received. All sales are final and are not returnable.

Credit Cards: we are authorized to accept VISA, MC, and DISCOVER for immediate processing.

Money Orders/Cashier's Checks: accepted for immediate processing.

Personal Checks: we are always happy to accept your Personal Check but, please remember to allow at least 10 business days for processing (this includes Rush Orders paid by Personal Check). Due to our Bank's Fees, we must charge a $30.00 bank fee for all bounced checks.


PROCESSING TIMEFRAMES
Personalized ceramic platters and signature plates are processed in 12 to 15 business days (PLUS ship time) from the date we receive your order/payment. Please Note: Processing Timeframes may be affected by payment with a personal check and busier months of the wedding season (April thru October) where order may take a few days longer than normal. Custom Design Orders generally take 4 to 5 wks (20 to 25 business days) to complete (plus shpg).

TO RUSH PROCESS: Add $30.00 to upgrade your guest book plate order to a processing time of 3 to 5 business days (PLUS ship time) from the date we receive your order/payment. Please Note: Processing Timeframes will be affected by payment with a personal check.

RETURNS / EXCHANGES
All guestbook platters and accessories are not returnable. Shipping fees are non-refundable. We strongly suggest that you inspect your platter and guest book accessories AS SOON AS you receive them. If you have any damages, you must contact us immediately.

CANCELLATIONS
We cannot guarantee to cancel any order(s). We will make every attempt to intercept your order whenever possible, however, you will be charged for any work that has already been completed (all platter work is handpainted in stages; all invitations are pre-press plated, set up and printed in stages). In addition, there is a 30% cancellation fee (of order total) for all guestbook platter and invitation orders already in production.

CUSTOM DESIGN ORDERS
Custom Design Orders are orders where we recreate your artwork or design on one of our platters. A lot of times, custom designs are also created by our artist for you, when one of our standard designs does not suit your needs. The fee for custom designs is a minimum additional $30.00; although extensive, highly detailed designs may incur addtional fees as well. Please email your design proposal for a quote before placing custom orders. Please note that we cannot reproduce another artist or company's copywritten artwork. To inquire about getting a custom design on a guest book platter, you can email us your design or ideas. Check our portfolio of several past custom signature platter designs.

SHIPPING & HANDLING GUIDELINES
We are located in Jamesville, New York (10 minutes from Syracuse in upstate NY). Our preferred shipping method is UPS (Ground, 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day) but we do also ship USPS (Priority) if you request it. We are unable to ship to post office boxes, please provide a complete street address when ordering. NOTE: occasionally, your order may be completed sooner than quoted ... WHEN this happens we may to choose to override your priority mail selection and ship your platter UPS Ground.


NO HASSLE SHIPMENTS: with employer permission, we strongly suggest that you have your order shipped directly to your work place. This will ensure a safe and trackable receipt of your signature platter without any worries (exposure to rain, snow, extreme heat, theft, etc.).

SHIPPING AND HANDLING PRICES: the actual shipping and handling rate is calculated within the shopping cart. It is based on your location AS WELL AS the weight/sizes of the various platters, pens and easels that might be purchased. The shipping screen comes up within your cart AFTER you put your name and address in. It needs to know these parameters in order to calculate the shipping and handling rate. This all occurs BEFORE the payment screen. GuestBookPlatters.com 's shipping and handling rates are very reasonable and acutality reflective. If you have a concern about a seemingly high shipping fee, please contact us to insure accuracy before terminating a potential order.

GLOBAL INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
Global shipments (including Canada) are shipped via the US Postal Service whenever possible. We can ship your package to almost anywhere worldwide! All prices on our website are in US Funds. For an estimated cost of a global shipment, please place your order online and complete the address page of the cart, the very next page will display your shipping options and fees - you DO NOT have to enter any payment details prior to shipping calculations. IMPORTANT NOTE: Upon delivery, GLOBAL shipments may also incur duty taxes, customs fees and even brokerage fees. These fees are assessed at the time of delivery by your country's Customs Department. We are NOT associated with these fees in any way and are not privy to the pricing structure used to mandate them.
